Cluster Headache Attacks Drive People To Extreme Measures
Cluster headaches are an extremely painful form of headache, and the victim usually suffers from them over and over during an extended period of time, which is where they get their name. Some victims are relatively “lucky”, and only suffer a small number of cluster headache attacks each year. But some victims have the chronic form of the condition, and they can suffer several of these excruciatingly painful attacks each and every day of their lives. And many of them are increasingly going to extreme measures to alleviate their suffering. In this article we’ll talk about the most controversial ones, which are the use of LSD hallucinogenic mushrooms.
If you’ve ever suffered from cluster headache attacks, you know first hand the torment a person goes through during one. They’re unspeakably painful. There are some treatments available in the form of oxygen, or powerful prescription drugs, but for many people these simply don’t work. In their desperation, many sufferers are turning to the use of hallucinogenic substances such as LSD and certain kinds of mushrooms, also known as “magic mushrooms” and psilocybin mushrooms.
Of course, these “treatments” are extremely controversial and illegal just about everywhere. But a growing community of people who suffer from cluster headache attacks have found that these two substances are the only things that bring them relief, and are exchanging information on an underground network on how to procure and/or cultivate them. There is even a growing movement to have these substances legalized for the treatments of cluster headaches, much as marijuana has been used legally to treat glaucoma.
We’re not advocating the use of such extreme and usually illegal measures to deal with cluster headaches, but are simply reporting that some people are so desperate to relieve the pain of these attacks that they’ll do just about anything, including breaking the law. What’s even more sad is that there are some natural treatments that have been proven effective at stopping cluster headache attacks, but many of these unfortunate victims don’t know about them.
