Cluster headaches are nothing like ordinary, run of the mill headaches, as anyone who has ever suffered one can tell you. They are far more painful than the regular variety. Believe it or not, they’re even worse than migraine headaches. Chronic cluster headache sufferers are some of the most unfortunate human beings on the planet. Cluster headaches, one of the most painful experiences a human being can live through, are extremely debilitating. It’s impossible for a person to function at all during an attack; all they can think about is the horrible, blinding pain and praying it will go away. Hi,

As you can see on this site, cluster headache is one of the most severe headaches someone can suffer from. My husband, for example, has this desease for almost 10 years. Two times every year, for 6 to 8 weeks, he will wake up at night, screaming from all the pain he has. And those attacks will repeat themselves during the day. In the peek of the cluster period he will have up to 5 attacks a day, and while they are happening the only thing I can do is assure him that it will pass, ’cause that’s the only thing that will keep him sane.
